General Troubleshooting

⚠️ Check Your Security Settings

If you use an anti-virus software like Norton, be sure to put rvt2VR or skp2VR on the approved apps list.

Some anti-virus softwares falsely identify the files KubityParser.exe, KubityOptimizer.exe, rvt2VR.exe or skp2VR.exe as dangerous. Be sure to unblock and restore these files from within your anti-virus software settings.

👨🏻‍🏭 Check with Your Systems Administrator

Please contact your system administrator to open firewall ports 443 and 80 to the kubity.com domain.

🚀 Close and Relaunch SketchUp

If you're using SketchUp, be sure to close and relaunch the program after downloading the plugin in order to finish installation.

⏱ Be Patient

Some large models may take a while to load. Even if the progress bar appears to be stuck at 0%, our technology is working hard in the background to optimize your file.

🚫Remove Unnecessary Polygons

If you find your model is still taking a long time to load, try removing some unnecessary elements, such as vegetation, which can slow down the optimization process.

Oculus Rift Troubleshooting

HTC Vive Troubleshooting

🔌 Set Up Your HTC Vive
